Of course. Gordon’s Makeovers are a long running, well-established family business who have operated for over 27 years. We have completed thousands of kitchen refurbishments since 1994 and our testimonials are a testament to not only the quality of our work and products but also the business owners, fitters and everyone involved.
No, Gordon’s Makeovers will only ask you for 30% deposit up front and will only take the final 70% upon delivery of your products. The fitting fee is payable once our fitters have completed the work and is payable separately to the fitter’s directly.
Feel free to get in touch with us, as we may be able to supply you with just one door, however, in our experience, unless we have supplied your original kitchen/kitchen doors then an exact matchup is unlikely. We are not an ecommerce online shop, where you can just buy a door “off-the-shelf” as all our doors are made-to-measure.
Gordon’s Makeovers offer FREE, NO OBLIGATION estimates, but have to make a home visit to measure your existing kitchen and give an accurate and honest quote. We don’t believe in hard sales, so you will never feel under any pressure from us to make a decision and can take all the time you want.
We endeavour to create as little disruption as possible and we try to leave the kitchen operational at the end of each working day. All mess will be cleared.
Gordon’s Makeovers will do as little or as much as you want, in respect of a refurbishment from doors, through to a full makeover, worktops, trims, sink, taps, appliances, etc. We can also recommend tradesmen for other aspects such as plumbing and tiling if required.
It is very difficult for us to give you an exact quote over the phone, as it all depends on the current state of your kitchen, the amount of doors, if you require anything else etc. The best way is to allow us to come into your home with our Free No Obligation Quotation appointment, as then we can measure up and give you an accurate quote there and then. However what we find is that typically around half the price of a fully fitted kitchen.
It usually takes around 1 to 2 days to complete the whole project.
No. Gordon’s Makeovers provides a made-to-measure kitchen door service so age is of no importance providing the kitchen carcasses are sound, regardless of whether they are imperial or metric.
Yes! We can remove the rubbish following your kitchen makeover, please ask our surveyor at the time of your quotation.
Unfortunately, we can’t provide a guaranteed match-up service unless we have previously supplied your existing kitchen. If we have then that’s great, please contact us with the style, colour and measurements of your door or doors and we can discuss prices and place an order for you.
If we haven’t supplied your existing kitchen but you have seen a style and colour that you feel would be suitable, either through our website or by visiting our showrooms, then please feel free to contact us and we will see what we can do to help.
However if you had a kitchen previously supplied by us, we cannot always guarantee the exact shade match. The Vinyl on some of our products is somewhat like wallpaper and can slightly vary from batch to batch.
Unfortunately we do not provide this service and we cannot re-cover or re-paint any damaged, peeling kitchen doors.
If you are lucky enough to find your existing door style and colour in our Door Ranges (or in our showroom – our website can only show a small selection of our extensive range!) we can of course provide any sized door, for any purpose, made-to-measure. Please feel free to contact us for a quote
Yes, here at Gordon’s Makeovers we do provide product guarantees (please see further information below). Customers are advised of these upon placing their order.
What’s covered in the Gordon’s Makeovers 5 YEAR Guarantee?*
Doors, drawer fronts, drawer boxes, cornice, pelmet, plinths etc. We will replace any of these products which develop a defect due to faulty manufacturing within a period of 5 years from the date of registration of the guarantee form.
*The guarantee form and satisfaction note must be returned to Gordon’s Makeovers in Westhoughton within a maximum period of 14 days from satisfactory completion of installation.
*This extended Guarantee is offered in addition to your statutory rights under the Sale of Goods Act.
*All fitting and installation work is guaranteed for a period of 1 year from date of completion.
MANUFACTURER’S 12 MONTHS GUARANTEE:
Goods like sinks, cooker hoods, appliances and worktops carry their own manufacturer’s guarantee for a period of 12 months (some appliances have a 24 month guarantee).
WHAT’S NOT COVERED: Goods which have been subjected to an excess of water, or damaged, abused or which are subject to normal wear and tear
From order it typically takes 3-4 weeks for materials to be made and fitted. We post confirmation via email as soon as we can. Delivery normally takes place on a Monday and we aim to fit within the same week.
Unfortunately we do not offer fully-fitted kitchens, only makeovers. However, we are able to replace single cabinets or add more in if required. Add extra storage facilities? Yes, we do provide a fitting service. Our Fitters have been working for Gordon’s Makeovers for over 27 years and are highly experienced joiners and tradesmen. With our fitting service we provide a 12 month guarantee which ensures a free call-out service during this time period should there be any fitting problems with your kitchen makeover.

No we don’t do this as standard. Edging is usually a Factory procedure, however we may be able to help You find a paint or iron on option for the design you chose.
No, but we do need to get to the hinges on all the doors. Drawer boxes must always be emptied. However if you do leave your cabinets full, we take no responsibility for damages or breakages during installation.
Yes, our fitters have managed this many times. However we cannot guarantee there wont be any breakages.

Order today and your kitchen makeover could be completed in 2 weeks! Once the customer has placed their order we ask that they allow approximately 7 – 10 working days for their kitchen doors etc. to be made, as all of our doors etc. are made to measure. Delivery and fit dates are agreed on in conjunction with the customer’s availability and fitting typically takes place 1 – 2 days after delivery.
Here at Gordon’s Makeovers we aim to accommodate all of our customers requirements. Should you have a specific date or timescale in mind for your kitchen makeover then please mention this to the surveyor at the time of your home quotation visit. He will then be able to discuss with you whether this is possible.
